If we lose Lynch next offseason Lacy looks like he could step in and we’d hardly notice the difference. He looks like he’d be good in a ZBS, letting the linemen create lanes before making the cut and putting the foot down. Like Lynch he has great leg drive, striving for extra yards and refusing to go down easily. He didn’t look like he had blazing speed but looked quick enough. I’m guessing he’ll probably be a 2nd day pick, possibly a first if he puts up good numbers. What is it with Alabama and running backs?
They appear to have a conveyor belt at RB and CB… and Saban’s influence is pretty big because that’s how he builds the team. Funny really given how Bama’s focus is eerily similar to Seattle’s under PC (defense – run game given priority and no superstar QB).
