Region of Boom

A Hawks fan named Tanner sent me a link to this video on Sunday. It’s really well put together. If you’ve got 50 minutes to spare, check it out…

It appears the the video was taken down.

Well how about a “top five” list of some sorts. That’s what the “pros” do when they don’t have time.

    Top 5 teams:

    1. Seahawks
    2. 49ers
    3. Cardinals
    4. Broncos
    5. Packers

If Patriots get everyone back, I could see it.

Panthers offense is pretty bad and they might lose Smith.

Look at the broncos, pretty bad D and their O isn’t going to be that good next year. Their losing probably going to lose decker. But just having manning as their qb you have to put them in the top 5 out of respect atleast til the season starts going. Patriots I think are in a way better position on O and D then the broncos. Panthers O may not be the greatest but if smith comes back him and Newton are a very deadly combo. Newton has also show. Every year he gets more confident and makes less bone headed mistakes. Their D makes them a contender as we’ve seen the 9ers, hawks, cardinals and panthers from last year proved to us

My best friend made this video. It’s too bad they took it down because it was really good. NFL films were probably nervous that it was better than theirs.

Appreciate the shout out though Rob.

TE John Carlson cut by Vikings might be smart to check on his price might be more likely to sign him to a one year deal instead of McCoy if the price is right.

    • Madmark

I’m not interested in Carlson. I actually would like to resign McCoy he was ready for a break out year until the injury. He does have 4 years xp now and is a lot faster than Miller. I’m hoping we can bring him back on a good contract that works for both the team and for him. What I mean by xp is he knows the ZBS already. Willison is our Carlson and he’ll be here for another 3 years already.

      • CC

Carlson has had a few too many concussions – not worth the risk

        • Hay stacker509

Agreed. We let him go at the right time

      • David Mast

Exactly what I was thinking re McCoy, I had him having a breakout season in 2013 then hi injury happened, hope he gets resigned and does some good stuff!

Beckum was a Wisconsin guy 6’3” 240 (4.62). Beckum/Wilson/McCoy should be ok for what we want our TE to do.

    Browner reinstated

Redskins released DE Adam Carriker, what’s everyone’s take on bringing him in and kicking his tires for a 1 or 2 yr deal?

    • red

Dee Ford 29 reps ran a 4.56 at pro day if he is at 32 I think we consider him but he is a little lite weighed in at 244 today 6’2 244.

Brandon browner tweets he has been reinstated

    *******

“I received wonderful news today. The NFL has reinstated me, and I now have
the opportunity to prove to the fans and my teammates how important this
sport is to me. I realize now more than ever that being part of the NFL is
not a right, but a privilege. I am grateful that Commissioner Goodell and
my agent were able to resolve this issue in a positive, productive manner so
I can continue my career, provide for my family, and help my team win a
Super Bowl. Thank you to all who have gone out of their way to show their
support. I will live up to your expectations of me.”

SEA placed a 2nd Rd tender on Jeron Johnson today. Interesting move… Some team must’ve really been interested in him. With that tender, if he remains in SEA, he’s making $2.1M as a backup safety. I wouldn’t mind an extra 2nd rounder if we don’t retain him.

Interested to see what we do with Baldwin and Jeanpierre (our other RFAs)
