Super Bowl preview with Daunte Culpepper & Fred Taylor
February 1st, 2013 | Written by Rob Staton
I had the chance to speak with Daunte Culpepper (former Vikings quarterback) and Fred Taylor (ex-Jaguars running back) today. We talked about Sunday’s Super Bowl… so if you can bear to hear about the 49ers in the big game, have a listen.

I would probably have said, “Daunte Culpepper (former Vikings quarterback)” since that’s where all of the meaningful years of his career took place. Was referring to Miami arbitrary or is there a particular reason you consider him a former Dolphin?
Nice interview, Rob. Thanks for posting. With all due respect to Fred Taylor, I’d have to say that Lawrence Taylor was the greatest linebacker I’ve ever seen. Still, it will be special seeing Ray Lewis out there on Sunday one last time.
I’m curious to know what people are doing in preparation for the Super Bowl. I was thinking about re-watching episodes of The Wire to get in a Baltimore mood. (And I believe I read somewhere that Dominic West grew up around Sheffield. Small world.) A good friend of mine who hosts our Super Bowl party every year is a big Niners fan, so it should make for an more nerve-wracking experience.

Nice Job Rob!
That’s awesome you got to interview these guys. Are they friends of yours?
You also have a wicked cool british accent, so now when I read your post I’m going to hear that VOICE! Nice, I love accents and language…
Keep up the magic! Good Stuff

My mistake. I had Miami on the mind. Have since changed it.
