Here’s a rundown of what has happened since the Seahawks beat the Arizona Cardinals to move to 2-0:
— A video leak of Mike Macdonald talking ‘off the record’ about a disagreement with Sean Payton and the Broncos was published online, forcing the Head Coach to issue a public apology
— The Seahawks put in an uncharacteristic, messy performance to blow up their 12-game winning run by losing to the Washington Commanders (who were missing several key starters)
— The Head of the new ownership group, Vinod Khosla, reportedly made some clumsy comments during an interview about moving the team out of Seattle — suggesting, “never say never.” He has since clarified there are no plans to move the team in a Tweet — but blamed the media, rather than own what appears to be an ill-judged remark and a very avoidable own goal
— Jadarian Price, who has had a challenging start to his NFL career with two fumbles, is now set to miss at least the next four games with a chest injury after being place on injured reserve. It means that the Seahawks, currently, are getting virtually nothing out of their 2027 draft class
I don’t know about you — but I could do with a win against the Chargers to cleanse my palate.
