Curious. I did not see him set the edge. If he plays strong side, replacing Hill, Mosley would need the strength to set the edge. Thoughts?
I think he’s good enough to make that adjustment. And Hill is listed as only being 6lbs heavier than Mosley (238 vs 232).
C.J. Mosely is a monster – he can play any of the three LB spots in a 4-3, so he shouldn’t really be pidgeon-holed as a SAM or MIKE specifically. He could be a WILL and be excellent. I think Hill is a WILL, and K.J. is our SAM. Since they often just play Left and Right, it’s tough to identify one as the WILL or SAM, but PC has generally referred to K.J. as the SAM and nickel MIKE.
