Merry Christmas!
Enjoy your day off.
Merry Christmas to you from Florida. Enjoy the day off and thanks for all the GREAT work.
Happy holidays, enjoy!
Merry Christmas to Rob and fellow bloggers here!
By the by, word is that Ray Edwards is possibly signing with the ‘Hawks this week, held a tryout yesterday. Good move? Should we start thinking another pass rusher to draft or we just adding depth this year?
I wanna like the move but really can’t see him other than giving Clemons a breather, which I’d rather they give those snaps to Irvin. Which then makes me think about Red’s position, maybe having less Red on base packages for passing situations?
I think it might be a new wrinkle for the defense going into the playoffs or maybe even a motivational tool for Irvin. In the last few weeks Bruce has been fairly anonymous. The playoffs are nearly always about pass rush, time management and run game. They’ll need pressure in the post season.
Can Edwards be depth for the Jason Jones role (currently held by Scruggs), or is his strictly an outside guy?
For me, he’s an outside guy. 265lbs.
I thought I read he was 285 – my bad :). 265 is obviously outside.
Wow- Rob You said it about Turbin – not me. He needs to spend some time with the junk yard dog rushers and find him inner warrior!
Merry Christmas! Thanks for all the hard work covering the draft during the year. Makes even the offseason more exciting to have a Seahawks site that keeps us up to date on all the great college prospects.
Merry Christmas to Rob and all Seahaks fans.
Rob, thanks for keeping the site one of the better ones out there for a Hawks fan!
Merry Christmas from Alaska. Thanks for keeping the blog going Rob.
It’s been an interesting year. Thanks to Russell Wilson it’s been very exciting!
Late Merry Christmas to you and yours Rob.
I’m visiting the good old north west just in time to see that awesome game and show my dad your site.
Thanks for the great work this last year and this great hawks site.
Thanks for the kind words, Barry. Truly appreciated and Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas! Cheers on the awesome blog, as always. Love it.
Merry Christmas, Rob.
Since you are so intent on taking a 3-Tech let me give you a gift for Christmas. Here is a video of Chris Jones, DT from Bowling Green, 6-1, 293.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4fQCKf2SxM
Jones isn’t getting the love on the internet that Sheldon Richardson is because he comes from as small school. He has what you are looking for, however. His short stature and impressive strength make him hard to handle. He commands a double team block and still leads the nation in sacks by an interior lineman with 12.5. Unlike Richardson there are no character concerns. He should be available after round 1, although I can assure you NFL scouts know all about him.
Thanks for the video – I’ll take a look tonight. And Merry Christmas!
