I have a hard time buying into Mike Florio. Good guy, smart, but he likes to stir the pot as much as anyone with his “rumors”.
I fell off when he wrote a piece (and I paraphrase):
“Seattle might have the 4th best defense in the league, but they also might the 4th best defense in their division”.
I couldn’t believe what I was reading.
I dont think, I have ever liked a QB more from interviews. Wilson seems almost robotic in interviews, but always says just the right thing and comes off incredible genuine. Even the Go Hawks close to every interview, seems genuine as can be. In a world where aspiring pro players are coached what to say, and how to present themself so much. Russell is what other pretend to be, a hyper driven player with all tangibles an intangible you could ever ask for. I just don’t see a number one pick a QB next year anymore.
A quarterback needs to say the right things, work his ass off and lead by example. Wilson is almost perfect in this sense. I can’t think of a better attitude.
I am glad to see that RW is starting to mix up his “I think the biggest thing is …” with “the main thing is …” or “the key is …”
Love the kid, but if “I think the biggest thing is …” was a drinking game, we’d all be in trouble.
