I’m not gonna lie, Rob, it’s very odd listening to football analysis by a guy with an English accent.
In a really bad way? Just wondering because it’s a feature I’ll remove for next season if it gets a lot of negativity.
Perhaps it just throws people off initially if they don’t know your back ground. Personally, I could care less about the accent because your content is flat out great. I wouldn’t sweat it too much.
Lol, by feature do you mean the english accent or the podcast?
For what its worth Rob, I think you have an outstanding voice for broadcast. Mine is TERRIBLE. Not Dave Cameron from USSmariner bad, but really bad.
I think it’s awesome. I really hope you do it again next year.
The only thing I might recommend is that you make a note somewhere that the podcast is only 5 minutes long. I almost didn’t download it because I did not think I had enough time to listen before the draft starts. I downloaded it anyways with the intention of listening later since I’m a podcast junkie. But when I saw how short it was, I realized I had time to listen to it before hand, which is my preference, and I really enjoyed it.
No way Rob, the accent is what makes the podcast great. For a minute I was appreciating football and soccer at the same time. Thanks for your work
