Wilson is ranked at #7 in our top 40 watch list for 2013. This wasn’t his or Arkansas’ best performance last year, but it’s the kind of game he’ll need to shine in this year to truly max out his potential. Arkansas has enough talent to win the SEC and Wilson needs to take the chance to impress scouts against top-tier opposition.

I have a hunch that for the third year in a row we’ll see 3 QBs go top ten. I think Wilson will be one of them. I don’t think he’s the best QB in the 2013 class, but he might be the most well-rounded. He’s smart. He’s accurate. He’s mobile. He has a good arm. He has good intangibles. He lacks glaring weaknesses. Outside of Andrew Luck we really haven’t had a QB without some kind of question mark in some time. I think he’s going to be a very solid top 10 pick for some team.
If Seattle doesn’t find their QB answer in 2012, then I definitely expect Wilson to be on their short list.
Love how decisive he is and how he’s willing to stand tall in the pocket. Can’t wait to see more of this guy in the fall.
