Why do I get the sense that Lane Kiffin wanted this game to be Barkley’s showcase game to scouts since there will be no bowl game?
Now more then ever, I’m leaning towards Barkley declaring this year.
I think much of it had to do with USC having to watch an inferior team play for the PAC 12 championship instead of themselves.
I tend to agree Colin, this was a statement on the sanctions more than anything else.
It was a real shame, and I may be mistaken, but is USC unable to be ranked as well in these sanctions? Because how is this team NOT in the top 25? I thought it was just no bowl games and fewer scholarships. Because USC could give Alabama AND LSU a run for their money.
Because of the sanctions, USC is ineligible for both the Coaches’ and BCS polls. They’re allowed to be ranked in the AP Poll, however.
Fantastic. Both receivers looked pretty incredible too.
@Jarhead The AP has them tied at #9 with Boise State I think.
This is a somewhat older message now. But, I think Marquise Lee will be better than Woods in the NFL. Both are great receivers. But, something about Lee is more electifying. He seems to get seperation easily both with strength and speed. And, he really wants to get into the end zone.
However, Lee has been dinged up a few times. Because of his determination to get into the end zone. Even if it means leaping. Hopefully, he doesn’t get badly injured.
Otherwises, I think Lee will be outstanding in the NFL.
