College football Saturday open thread

November 19th, 2016 | Written by Rob Staton

I’m heading to Husky Stadium shortly for the Washington vs Arizona State game. I’ll post some thoughts when I get back to the hotel. In the meantime if you’re watching a game today tell us about it in the comments section.

Oh snap, I just got into town haha the train wasn’t running and the busses were shite.

If you’re leaving now, should I give this booze to the desk?

  2. Sea Mode says:

Have a great time, guys. Sounds like fun!

  3. Kenny Sloth says:

    Pleasure to meet you, Rob.

Couldn’t believe an Hispanic bartender didn’t recognize a bottle of tequila.

Look forward to getting together with some more of you guys at training camp this summer.

  4. Nathan W. says:

Rob – are you at the stadium? I’m hanging around the stadium then going to the student section. Let me know if you’d like to meet up!

  5. Kenny Sloth says:

Guuuuysss at the busstop back to Tacoma this drunk fella was eatin somethin and he spat after he threw it.

I realized it was a glow stick and exclaimed “Whoa man! You cant be doing that!”

As I got off at the Tacoma Dome I saw he had been arrested for apparently assaulting some poor girl at the front of the bus.

Kind of a weird day hahah

Browning looks like crappie the last 2 weeks

  7. Volume12 says:

Oklahoma RB Samaje Perine ran like a grown a** man tonight.

    • CHawk Talker Eric says:

Perine is the most Seahawky RBs in the Draft not named Fournette. I’ve said it before, Perine reminds me a lot of Lynch. Also think Elijah Hood is very Seahawky. Would really like either in the R3-R4 range.

Also like OK WR Dede Westbrook. Has a bit of DeSean Jackson to his game.

  8. Nathan W. says:

Kevin King had an amazing one-handed INT today.

  9. Mac says:

Would love to meet up and talk Seahawks.

  10. Volume12 says:

Patriots leave DE Jabaal Shears behind in Boston due to his poor performance because they currently don’t think he’s good.

  11. Trevor says:

I thought he would be a great pass rush depth guy for us to target this off season. Has he lost a step or just having a down year?

  12. Trevor says:

The Oklahoma RBs Mixon and Perrine would be a quality duo in the NFL.

    • East Side Stevie says:

      Mixon major character concerns

      Perrine lot of injury history

Great backs but with that being said I dont see either one of them going before mid round 3

  13. McGruff says:

Rob and company . . . take a chance to check out Safety Obi Malifonwo from UConn . . . big guy who looks like a good athlete on film. Seems to have good instincts reading and reacting to the play, and unlike a lot of safeties I’ve seen in this class, he’s an excellent tackler.

Coaches rave about him too. I’ve watched a lot of safeties this year in hopes that we can start to make a plan for life after Kam, and Malifonwu is the first one not named Peppers that has caught my attention.

Let me know what you think.
