    Arkansas vs. Texas A&M

RB T.Williams has had some big runs. A real home run threat.
DE Daeshon Hall with a nasty sack-fumble!

    • Volume12 says:

Williams is a FR I believe.

Hall is one of the better looking DE’s on the hoof.

This DE/LEO from Illinois, Carroll Phillips has some juice man. HC Lovie Smith runs an NFL defensive scheme and he has Phillips in the LEO position. Former JUCO kid, nicknamed the ‘Wild man’ for his practice habits, and is 2nd in the nation for TFL. Built like Cliff Avril.

    • Aaron says:

Just realized I was watching a game from last week lol

      • Volume12 says:

It happens. My DVR is full of games. I like watching live more than tape if you can. For me, it’s important to see what’s going on between snaps for guys. What’s their body lanague like? Are they bent over at the waist huffing and puffing? Are defensive prospects dancing? Are they lining guys up communicating?

  2. Aaron says:

    Roku Streaming Stick (50$)
Just bought this thing the other day… Using the Watch ESPN app I can now watch all of the college games regardless of broadcast area.

  3. Volume12 says:

I like this Ryan Switzer. WR from NC. Big time returner, productive, great COD and agility. Fantastic speed. He’s a gritty dude.

    • Volume12 says:

And I know Michigan D-lineman Taco Charlton and Chris Wormley are more touted, but DT Mo Hurst is a stud. He’s got some Caleb Brantley to his game.

  4. Volume12 says:

Rob, what do you think of Michigan RT Erik Magnusson? He’s one of the better looking tackles this year.

  5. Aaron says:

    Wisconsin vs. Michigan
Just patiently waiting for Jabril to do something spectacular.

    • CharlieTheUnicorn says:

I’m not sure if you saw the end of the game, but the play by the CB to snatch the ball.. one handed with his back to the QB… simply amazing. Top 5 play of the year. The Michigan secondary deserves more attention from “us”. They are quietly playing very well. Well worth keeping tabs on for the upcoming draft, outside of Jubril of course.

  6. Volume12 says:

Florida St RB Dalvin Cook looks like the next Jamaal Charles.

If I remember right, JS wanted to draft Charles in round 2 when he was in GB, but was vetoed.

He’s unstoppable at times. Weaves his way through traffic. Always keeps his legs churning. Lowers his shoulder. And what a weapon in the passing game.

    • Volume12 says:

Don’t sleep on TCU RB Kyle Hicks. Smooth, great burst. Another back that’s a weapon in the passing game. He’s doing everything for TCU.

  7. Volume12 says:

What a pick by Michigan CB Jordan Lewis. Don’t care how small this kid is, he’s special man.

    Str8 fiyah!?

  8. Volume12 says:

What a day! This season has been like no other.

Looking forward to watching Clemson CB Cordrea Tankersley, WR Mike Williams, and DT Carlos Watkins.

For L’ville, HB Brandon Radcliffe, WR James Quick, and of course QB Lamar Jackson.

    • RealRhino2 says:

      Deshaun Watson looks like butt.

I liked Lamar Jackson the first time I saw him . . . when his name was Terrell Pryor.

I like Williams. Seems to have be good at using footwork to get free from press coverage at the line, from what little I’ve seen. Different than many bigger guys. But what do I know?

      • Volume12 says:

No, I suspect your right when it comes to Williams.

I was reading something that said Williams practice habits are unreal. Supposedly he goes 110%, dives for loose balls as if it was a game, and lays it all on the line Coaches have told him to dial it back a bit.

  9. Volume12 says:

I’m watching some of the Miami vs GA Tech game from this morning on my DVR, and another RB has emerged. Miami’s Joe Yearby. Great burst, good balance, and this kid has moves for days.

2 QBs no one is talking about. Cal’s Davis Webb and NC’s Mitch Trubisky. IMO their gonna be steals for some team.

  10. CHawk Talker Eric says:

Hey SDB family! I’ve been so busy for a few months that last night’s Stanford-Washington game was the first CFB I could watch so far this season. And what a game to watch! That Husky defense is impressive. The front 7 looked outstanding, especially the DE/OLBs – Mathis, Wooching, O’Brien. Even Qualls and Gaines looked good inside. Also nice to watch Miles Gaskin doing his thing again, shimmying, shaking and even lowering his shoulder for tough yards. I know Stanford’s secondary isn’t as strong as it could be, but Browning picked them apart. He looked totally comfortable and in command. Looking forward to this week’s rankings and seeing how high they climb. Peterson has them playing like Don James used to.

Caught some of ND @ SYR. Kizer goes from looking pedestrian to elite. Not sure which one he truly is, but he sure can flash. Some of his throws are works of art. And have you checked out sophomore RB Dexter Williams? This kid has some serious speed, and the ability to kick it in gear at an instant. Check out this run: https://www.clippituser.tv/c/rwxvk

Also watched Tennessee win in breathtaking (or soul-sucking) fashion, depending on your perspective. What a finish.

Tomorrow will also be the first Seahawks game I’ll have watched this season (I know, so pathetic). And it will take something like the Big One (earthquake) to keep me from watching it. Looking forward to Graham and maybe Willson lighting up the Jets’ LBs and safeties. Concerned about the early start, and Wilson’s mobility though. Ifedi returning to the lineup should help.

Good to be back after so long away. I missed this community.

    Go Hawks!

    • DavidM2 says:

V-12 was about to file a missing persons report…

      • Volume12 says:

        Right? ?

CHAWK, so glad your back man. Was missing ya these past few months. Hope everything is going good for ya. Boy did you pick the right week to watch CFB. Week 1 and today might’ve been the 2 best weeks in years. Seriously.

Can’t wait to start discussing some of the community’s favorite prospects with ya and eventually maybe you’ll help me fill out these open threads on Saturday’s like years past huh?

        Go Hawks!

        • CHawk Talker Eric says:

Amen to that V12! Looking forward to the same thing too. Missed it much since last season.

Had a great summer. Spent some time in hometown Seattle. Was really busy with work. Met someone and fell in love. She’s European and doesn’t understand American football….yet. Even worse, she’s a big fan of San Fran (the city) so she automatically chooses the Bay area team (Stanford, 49ers) in any matchup I, um, *force* her to watch. Hasn’t worked out so well for her lately so hoping she comes around soon.

Thanks David. V12 is the brother who makes sure everyone in the family shows up for Sunday dinner.

          • Volume12 says:

Thanks man. I love this community and try to do my best to keep the discussion going. I’m privileged to be a part of it and run my mouth (post a thousand times a day) all the time.

Glad your doing good and found someone. Congrats!

My summer was not so great. My mom lost her battle with breast cancer. My best friend and diehard Seahawk confidant. ?

    • The Hawk is Howling says:

Eric so great to have you back, Vol and I were wondering where you were and if you were okay and all. Great to see your post M8!

      Cragie

      Go MF Hawks!

    • bankhawk says:

Hey-and ya gotta love a player with a name like Psalm Wooching!

  11. HawkFan907 says:

Anybody see West Virginia’s Gibson make a ridiculous catch while getting his helmet ripped off? He has had a great year and has a lot of the traits that Doug Baldwin displays. He could be one to watch.

  12. Nolan says:

Clemson might be getting ready to put there foot on there theoat

  13. Nolan says:

What about the end of that Georgia Tennessee game

  14. Kenny Sloth says:

    Go Hawks!!

  15. The Hawk is Howling says:

What was I going to say?

    Wait, oh yeah

    Go Hawks!

  16. The Hawk is Howling says:

Damn, just read Prosise and Vannett aren’t going to play today. However CJ Spiller is making his Seahawks debut! Yay Football!

    Go Hawks!

    • Volume12 says:

DT Jarran Reed is out too. Has an issue with his hip.

Hoping he isn’t injury prone too man. Could be in the market for another run stuffer if that’s the case.

      • Volume12 says:

From Vannett’s tweets it sounded for sure like he was playing. Damn, was hoping to get to see him against a team typically struggles to defend TEs.

      • The Hawk is Howling says:

Do you think Jarran’s injury is worrisome Vol? I thought it was just a hip flexor issue but I really don’t know the severity.

        Go Hawks!

        • Volume12 says:

Hip injuries can be worrisome. We need him to shut down RB Matt Forte and make QB Ryan ‘Pick’patrick one dimensional.

  17. The Hawk is Howling says:

Hey Robbie Staton, did you go to the Colts – Jaguars game? I’m assuming the Jaguars are very popular in the UK Since Jaguar cars are a staple of British ingenuity.

Then there’s Jacksonville, good for them beating Indianapolis.

    Go Hawks!

  18. rowdy says:

Anyone think that fumble looked a lot like Jimmy’s last week. No surprise it goes against us

  19. rowdy says:

Oh no, russ can’t be holding onto the ball like this again

  20. nichansen01 says:

Wilson is making his offensive line look bad. Holding onto the ball way too long. When will he learn?

  21. nichansen01 says:

Wow Sherman just got beat bad.

    • The Hawk is Howling says:

Nichanson01 it happens, it’s the NFL. Why would you even bring that up Sherman has been the best corner in the NFL this season and Brandon Marshall is a great receiver. Positive thinking my fellow Seahawks friend.

      Go Hawks!

  22. Volume12 says:

This WR Quincy Enunwa is a stud.

Who was that sack on? Russ not going through his reads as usual?

  23. Volume12 says:

Spiller baybay! He’s looked good so far. Perfect fit. He’s doing what Prosise should be doing.

  24. CHawk Talker Eric says:

There we go. Seahawks offense rolling now.

  25. rowdy says:

Oh you mean the same hit they put on wilson earlier

  26. CHawk Talker Eric says:

Jimmy *effen* Graham silencing the haters

  27. CHawk Talker Eric says:

CMike looking like a lead back today

    • Volume12 says:

He really is. If we could grab a LenDale White to add to our RBBC? Good lawd!

Give me Texas RB D’Onta Foreman. A 240 pound back that runs and moves like he’s 205-210. One of the most unique backs in all of CFB.

      • CHawk Talker Eric says:

Missed that game yesterday. I’ll have to check out his highlights. RB position is LOADED this year in CFB

      • icb12 says:

That was a weird injury foreman had yesterday.

        Hope he’s ok.

        • Volume12 says:

I think he pulled an oblique muscle or something.

Love the ’18 wheeler’ Tyrone Swoopes as an H-back. IMO he could be the next Michael Robinson.

As we know, Seahawks were scouting that game too.

  28. Volume12 says:

    McEvoy? Yessir!

  29. CHawk Talker Eric says:

Any gripes about the offensive play calling today?

  30. rowdy says:

I knew that guy would earn his spot!!!!

  31. rowdy says:

    Ifedi is playing as advertised

    • Volume12 says:

Ifedi is out there beastin’. Blowing dudes off the line. Not only does he play to the whistle, dude plays past it!?

      • CHawk Talker Eric says:

        He’s quite *Seahawky*

        • Volume12 says:

So happy ur back my man!

I saw your post last night and jumped off my couch. My fingers couldn’t type fast enough.

          • CHawk Talker Eric says:

Thanks brother! I was so happy to get back on the blog.

This is the best community on the web. Starts at the top with great content prodigiously produced by a tremendously keen analyst, and is taken even further by great members posting thoughtful and insightful comments.

Couldn’t be happier to be back with y’all

  32. CHawk Talker Eric says:

We talked about Peak a bit on the blog last year. Liked him at Clem

  33. CHawk Talker Eric says:

    Sherman!!!!!!

  34. Volume12 says:

    What a pick, almost. Damn!

  35. Volume12 says:

How does a DE hold? Where?

  36. CHawk Talker Eric says:

Perfect pass and nice catch. Rare time for Sherman not to be aware of the ball in the air.

  37. Volume12 says:

F***n’ Sherm man. Come on bro bro. Not his best game today.

  38. nichansen01 says:

Sherman’s going to frustrated in the locker room and turn it up in the second half.

  39. rowdy says:

Almost 200 yards passing the first half the whole day is at fault not just sherman

  40. East Side Stevie says:

Any of you fellas know where I can stream or watch the Seahawk game? Its not being broadcasted.

  41. CHawk Talker Eric says:

CMike looks like a totally different player. Focused, determined, dedicated. Nice to see him start to fulfill his potential.

  42. Volume12 says:

Damn. That shoulda been a pick 6 by ET. So close to having 3 TO’s. Their coming fellas.

  43. CHawk Talker Eric says:

    PI on Sherman?!?

    NO INT by Sherman!

  44. Volume12 says:

Worst call of the game. B-Marsh shoved off.

Pick baybay! Football gods say ‘it’s karma New York.’

  45. CHawk Talker Eric says:

Jimmy Graham proving it all day

  46. Volume12 says:

His knee looks down to me. RW and Jimmy starting to develop chemistry. Scary.

    Is this 2010 Jimmy?

  47. rowdy says:

Russ with a clinic of back shoulder throws

  48. CHawk Talker Eric says:

Ok I’m just gonna say it. CMike totally reminding me of Ricky Watters. A little smaller, a lot quicker, but just as versatile and effective.

    • rowdy says:

He’s really starting to look he belongs and not like he’s trying to prove. He’s not trying anymore he’s just doing

    • Volume12 says:

      Not a bad comp.

His burst and 1st step remind me of Chris Johnson when he was in Tennessee.

He’s becoming a complete back. Great to see him having such an effect in the passing game.

We gotta resign him during FA my man. Have to.

      • Volume12 says:

        *fellas

      • CHawk Talker Eric says:

        Athletically very similar to CJ2K.

There’s something more than just the improved play. He seems totally committed to the team, *all in* as it were. He’s playing a complete game – running, catching, pass blocking. Did I read somewhere he thinks of SEA has his true home? Seems like they have him if they want him.

        • Volume12 says:

Something like being a Hawk was his destiny, or his true home.

Your right, they offer him a deal, I feel like he would take a discount to stay.

      • rowdy says:

I agree. His body language before during and after plays screams a true pro

  49. CHawk Talker Eric says:

Wilson got PAID this offseason, but there’s no let-up in his game or effort. What a tremendous player.

  50. CHawk Talker Eric says:

    Jimmy for MVP today

  51. CHawk Talker Eric says:

    ET3!! Seahawks secondary showing up

  52. Volume12 says:

ET! Like I said, when TO’s come, they come in bunches. 3 sacks against a Jets team that had only given up 1 coming into the game is impressive too.

  53. CHawk Talker Eric says:

Fantastic game from ST today. Great punting from Ryan in particular

    • Volume12 says:

      Yup.

Him, Jimmy, C-Mike, RW, Ifedi, and the secondary were the standouts for me. Bennett too. Although the secondary did give up some yardage in the 1st half. Noiw they know what they gotta clean up going into the bye.

  54. Volume12 says:

    WTF was that!? Fluke TD?

You guys hear ET? ‘His hand was going forward!’

  55. CHawk Talker Eric says:

As much as I hate to say it, that looks like a fumble

    Heads up play by Peak

    • Volume12 says:

It did. That was funny as hell though hearing ET say that.

Why did BWagz and everyone but KJ stop though?

      • rowdy says:

His hand pushed the ball forward I’ve never seen officials call it any way but incomplete

      • CHawk Talker Eric says:

My guess is big lead end of game let-up. No way they stop if it’s the 3rd qtr or a close game.

  56. AlaskaHawk says:

Wow what a fluke fumble and TD by Jets.

  57. rowdy says:

What happened to replay all scores? This fucking officials suck and are only getting worse

  58. Volume12 says:

WR Julio Jones has 300 yards receiving! OMG!

And Matty Ice has 500 yards passing!?

    • rowdy says:

I thought Carolina had a fluke season last year. There looking worse by the week

    • CHawk Talker Eric says:

Looking like a good matchup for week 6

      • Volume12 says:

I’m just not ready to buy what Atlanta is selling yet. They started 6-0 last year and wound up winning 1 or 2 games the rest of the way?

Kind of a wait and see with them. They’re almost blowing this game against Carolina.

  59. Volume12 says:

Another pick! 3 TO’s, shoulda been 4 and 3 sacks, shoulda been 4. Damn.

    Our D is ballin’.

Oh yeah, we should have only given up one TD.

  60. The Hawk is Howling says:

Whoo hoo! Great game all around should have been 27-10 if not for that fluke fumble touchdown by the jets. Now we get our bye and get to rest and get healthy! Things are looking up, so stoked!

    Go Hawks!
